Date: 2013-04-20 06:30 pm (UTC)I used to get purple potatoes in my CSA basket back when I lived in Davis. They were yummy -- and good for freaking out the uninitiated.
It actually wound up being two cupcakes. One, I can't for the life of me remember what it was supposed to be but it was pink and tasty; the other was a cranberry cupcake that was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. YUM. Our locally-owned cupcake place does gluten-free cupcakes that are absolutely da bomb. I will probably stop on my way home from the lab and get some more, because I am hooked...
