This here is an open thread.

Say whatever you'd like. Ask me something, tell me what you've been up to, whatever. See: open thread.

If you're really nice and I get sick enough of grading, I might even write something for you.

I like it. I used to know what flower that was.

I'm shocked, but that actually seems to be my last one. Have some random flowers.

All the animated ones are by the wonderful [personal profile] dhamphir and are shareable.

[Okay. This is one more. Sorta.]

I only *wish* I had socks that kick-ass - I used to buy cool socks, but after perpetually losing one of each pair, no matter how careful I was, I gave up and now they're all black. that way, it doesn't matter so much if the occasional sock wanders away (and they do) because they all look mostly the same to the casual onlooker. (but I miss the awesome argyle socks I used to have)

And with that for a starting place we produce...

Lamprocapnos spectabilis; also known as old-fashioned bleeding-heart, Venus's car, Lady in a bath, Dutchman's trousers, or Lyre-flower is a rhizomatous perennial plant native to eastern Asia from Siberia south to Japan.

that sounds right - my dad had a big bush in the side yard, in just that red/purple combination. I was fascinated by the blooms
